I'm married and mother of 2 little ones (5 and 2 and a 1/2). I had always been around 120 - 125 pounds until my first pregnancy when I gained over 60 pounds, lost all of my habits and motivation for working out and topped out at 185 pounds. I thought breast feeding would melt the pounds away. In April of 2004, after 4 months of being postpartum I was still 165 pounds and I began emailing my food intake with a friend. Two other friends joined us and the idea for PEERtrainer was born.
We launched a beta in 2005 and since then have had community members featured in magazines and TV, even the cover of PEOPLE magazine. We've developed significant partnerships in the medical and physician community and have helped thousands of people lose 10, 20 even a 100 pounds.
