This video explains how to make a Hot Apple Sundae in 2 minutes with your microwave. You can substitute whatever jam you want for marmalade. This is easy, cheap, healthy, low in calories. Really a perfect way to eat dessert. I got this recipe from my mom, not sure where she got it from. Enjoy!

We tried this last night. mmmmmmmm.

You said it's 2 points on Weight Watchers. How much sugar and how much orange marmalade do you use?

How many calories? Do you use red or green apples?

I made this last night and it IS surprisingly satisfying. Let it sit for about 5 minutes after you take it out of the microwave. It doesn't really matter what kind of apple you use. If you like crunchier, use Granny Smith, if you like sweeter use Red Delicious, but really, it doesn't matter. I used sugar free smuckers jelly, about a teaspoon and about 1/2 teaspoon of butter on top of that, stuffed into the core (leave the bottom of the apple intact, you just remove most of the core section). After it was done, and I let it sit, I sliced it open and sprinkled it w/a bit of cinnamon. Very nice treat on a fall evening...Heidi
