There are many Total Gyms available on the market today, though if you are contemplating purchasing a Total Gym Home Gym System, then there are probably just three models you really need to contemplate. These models are the Total Gym 2000, the Total Gym 3000, and the Total Gym XLS. We reviewed them because they are the three models sold at www.totalgymdirect.com which offers the best prices to be found anywhere on these Total Gym models. We also have a special coupon for PEERtrainer visitors that will get you an even deeper discount on whatever model you should choose. Please visit our Total Gyms Coupon Page.
We published a full PEERtrainer review of these 3 Total Gym models, but we’ll also summarize in this post exactly what to expect from the three models most commonly purchased on the market today.
The first is the Total Gym 2000, and of the three models we reviewed it is the entry level model. This is the upgraded model of the once popular Total Gym 1500, which is now out of production and also out of stock in most places. The Total Gym 2000 is a good basic machine, but lacks the versatility for leg exercises. If you’re just looking for basic strength building, toning and flexibility in your upper body, this could be a great machine for you. It prices out at about $599 (but less with our coupon) and you can get in 6 payments of just $99 each. If you pay in full, you will get an upgrade package. Visit www.totalgymdirect.com to see what is included in that package.
The second model we have reviewed is the Total Gym 3000. The 3000 model is a very nice, sturdy model. The advantage of the 3000 over the 2000 model is that it allows you to do a nice range of leg strengthening exercises. This is an important feature to consider because your legs contain the biggest muscles in your body. Building these muscles up will increase your metabolism and fat burning capacity. Another great feature is that Total Gym allows you to Try Total Gym® for only $1. It has a 300 lb weight capacity and allows you to do over 60 exercises. This is a great home fitness system that will last you a lifetime and keep you kicking butt into your later years!
The Total Gym 3000 model costs a total of $849, but you can get it in 6 payments of just $106.00.
Lastly, we reviewed the Total Gym XLS. This is the top of the line model, and if expense is not a major issue for you, it’s worth upgrading to this model. It comes with a wide range of additional accessories that allow you to use the machine for pilates workouts and it contains several exercises DVD’s tailored to the Total Gym workout style. Add onto that additional leg attachments, and you’re talking one fine machine that can make you solid from head to toe! It has a sturdier construction than the other two model reviewed, but doesn’t give away anything in terms of convenience. Like the other two models, it folds up nicely and will slide under your bed or into a closet.
The model sells on the Total Gyms Direct site for $1448.05, but you can get it cheaper with our PEERtrainer coupon. Also, you can try it for 30 days for $1.00, and then just make payments of $103.36 for 14 months.
All the models currently come with free shipping. Bottom line is this: whichever model you choose, you’re getting a solid piece of home workout equipment. The Total Gyms offer a great workout and you can start at any fitness level. Our fitness editorial team loves the various Total Gyms, and we recommend them highly.
I need to change some bolt and nuts of my Total Gym I bought in Urbana, IL in 2000. But I am in Guangzhou, China. How could you help me? Otherwise, my Total Gym is useless.
Thank you for your kind help in advance!
