Yes, hypnosis works. But, no, you don't need to buy this vastly overpriced product. Health Journeys, for ex, has lots of mp3s that cost less than $15 that are just as effective. I highly recommend Belleruth Naparstek's mp3s and David Illig's weightloss imagery/self-hypnosis.
No, I have nothing to do with Health Journeys but I used the mp3s and they worked really well for me. The Belleruth Weightloss CD (which you can buy as an mp3) was used at Canyon Ranch spa with very good results. But I'm sure there are other options out there--that don't require a scam-level outlay of cash.
IMHO, Peertrainer loses credibility by relentlessly pushing this product.

"Enjoying Weight Loss Feedback"
I took advantage of this in November and I was surprised at how well this works. I listened to the first two CDs and found that I would choose water as my beverage of choice, not consider eating any fried foods and looking at veg. and fruit as very desirable. I was so pleased that I lent the discs to my son to try. After about 6 weeks I find myself slipping into old habits so I got the discs back and am listening to them again. They are well worth it.
