Hopefully this question is not too heavy, but I want to bring it up because it is something we are seeing. A lot. So often people who are not at a certain weight are told they lack the willpower, the knowledge or the readiness to do so. Yet many people possess all these things in spades, but when push comes to shove are really not willing to prioritize shifting things because they don't want to upset the apple cart of those around them. For others, there is some sort of perceived benefit to retaining weight.
It is also possible that this does not describe you at all, and is not remotely relevant. Either way, we would like to know your thoughts on this. We have only two questions in this survey. The second question we want to ask is which types of changes are the easiest for you to make, based on your immediate peer group.
1. PEERtrainer Personal Change Survey
As you know, when we ask you questions like this, it is either the start or continuation of a conversation that we have been having. The PONR assessments that we are reading are triggering these questions. People feel so judged about the choices they make in life, and we see that a little understanding goes a long long way.
Speaking of understanding, I had a chance to interview a doctor we recently got to know. This gentleman has a passion for helping people, and all I will say is please please please listen to the conversation:
