I'm sharing this today because of my own personal transformation in the area of strength training. I have been one of those people who for whatever reason did not prioritize this. And that has been changing for me!
When you build muscle, you replace fat at a one to one ratio. That is benefit #1.
The second benefit is that it reduces your odds of getting some of the scary diseases when you get older.
The research proves this. Additionally, it gives you a slight boost in testosterone, which only results in you having more energy. Women have 15 to 20 times less testosterone than men, so you are not going to bulk up unless you are taking something!
